This was Hayes' second Easter (even though he wasn't even one yet) and as you can tell this kid loooved it! He had his first sucker and Twinky and the biggest score was his Zu Zu hampster the Easter bunny left in his basket. Hayes and the hampster jabber in the same language and he's already chucked it across the room enough times to make it stop running.
Even though Easter was so cold this year (yep, snow at the egg hunt), Easter traditions will always be a favorite around this house. Now I have to get up enough courage to hide that last plastic egg Hayes is still hauling around the house.
We had such a fun/busy Christmas with Christmas Eve with Chris' family in Murray, an early waking up to see what Santa left, breakfast with the Christensen's and presents with my dad, back to Murray with gma/pa Udarbe, and finally back to Ogden to see my mom. Holy cow, it felt as busy as it sounds, but for me that's how it should be. Christmas has always been a little of jumping from here to there to see all the people we love!
In all, we are hanging in here and our little family is doing great!
Really the only word that comes to mind
when I think of my hubby is survival.
Chris is surviving. Anyone else endured
pharmacy school? For now, Hayes
is keeping us ridiculously busy and
it's sad to say but we love it.
I am having a blast doing some
photography and being able to spend some
time with my little buddy while he's still
little, well kind of little anyway. If you
asked Hayes about himself he'd probably
tell you that he spends most of his time
being entertained by his parents or
thinking of ways to get his parents to
entertain him. We love our little stink!
